If Celtic became champions, we made a promise to our podcast guest, Shebahn Aherne: we would tackle the London Marathon. Now, it’s time to deliver on that bet!
A Journey of Recovery, Resilience, and a Daft Bet!
HOW IT STARTED
For me, Jackie, this marathon is more than just a race; it’s a testament to resilience. After suffering a life-threatening brain aneurysm in February 2020, I faced a journey that changed everything. My recovery is a true miracle, and I’m ready to show that life—and achievement—can flourish after adversity.

making HISTORY
THE MARATHON
On Saturday, April 24, 2027, we will make history as part of the first-ever Saturday London Marathon! With friends and legends from the world of sport and entertainment cheering us on, we can’t wait to take those steps toward the finish line.
Why We Are Running
We’re running to raise vital funds for two organisations that mean the world to us:
Headway UK: Providing crucial support for brain injury survivors and their families.
The Consilium Sports Group Foundation: Empowering young people through sport with mentorship and resources.
Get Involved
Over the next 32 weeks, we’ll be training hard, battling sore knees, and sharing our ups and downs. We’d love your support—every donation, no matter how small, goes directly to Headway UK and The Consilium Sports Group Foundation.
